We use positive reinforcement training methods with all of our dogs. Our signature #doggytrailmix packed with tasty snacks makes practicing manners, tricks, and skills all the more fun!
We approve of and use: longlines, harnesses, muzzles, treats, toys, mats, crates, clickers, enrichment toys, praise and affection. *Please note that we require a well fitting harnesses for all our Small Pack Walk participants*
In the event of an emergency, we are equipped with: dog first aid kit, emergency sling, leash for each dog, bear spray, air horn, whistle, pocket knife, clean water, and an emergency satellite communication device. All off-leash dogs must demonstrate a reliable recall from the safety of a longline.
Yes, Doggy Tales Whistler is fully insured through The Cooperators.
Yes; all of our staff members are Dog First Aid and CPR certified through Dogsafe and have completed a course in Dog Body Language.

We have weekly availability for Private Walks and Private Sittings. Our Small Pack Walk program is waitlist only and based on pack compatibility.
Cancellations made prior to 24 hours before the start of the booking will be refunded 50% of the service rate. Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking are non-refundable.
