Dog-Friendly Trails in Whistler
The Whistler trails our pack knows best — with difficulty ratings, leash rules & seasonal safety tips.
Where to walk your dog in Whistler
Whistler is one of the most dog-friendly corners of the Sea-to-Sky, with everything from gentle lakeside loops to full-day alpine adventures. But leash rules, wildlife and seasonal conditions vary from trail to trail — this guide covers the routes our walkers know best.
Easy favourites include Lost Lake Park, the paved Valley Trail and the Riverside Trail along the River of Golden Dreams. Fit trail dogs can take on Rainbow Lake or the Parkhurst Ghost Town route. Most municipal parks, the Valley Trail and BC Parks trails require dogs on leash, so always check current signage. Walking in the next valley over? See our dog-friendly trails in Pemberton.
Prefer to leave the trail-planning to us? Our team walks these routes every day — book small-pack dog walking in Whistler and we'll match your dog to the right trail and pack.

Off-Leash Dog Trails in Whistler
Wondering where the off-leash adventures happen? 🐾
🤫 That's our little secret!
Our favourite off-leash-friendly hideaways are reserved for dogs in our regular small-pack walks — the ones where our certified handlers already know every dog's recall, temperament and trail manners. That's how we keep off-leash time safe for the whole pack.
