Questions people ask before buying
Do I need certification to become a dog walker in Canada?
No single national certification is required to walk dogs for money in Canada. Some cities, including Toronto and the Metro Vancouver regional parks, require a permit if you walk several dogs at once in public parks, and Module 16 covers that city by city. This course teaches the skills behind good dog walking. It does not replace a city permit and it is not issued by any certifying body.
Is this course required before I can walk dogs on Rover?
No. Rover doesn't require any course to create a profile or take a booking. This course exists because knowing how to read a dog, run a safe group walk and handle a wildlife encounter is what gets you repeat bookings and good reviews, not just an approved profile.
Will this get me a dog walking job?
