Dog Walking Jobs in Whistler

Love dogs and the outdoors? We're always looking for passionate people to join our crew. Eight quick questions, about two minutes — and yes, we do ask for your coffee order.

Question 1 of 8

Which position are you applying for?

What Makes a Strong Pack Walk Leader?

Do you have what it takes? You either have these skills or are committed to learning and developing them over the next 6–12 months. Being a group walk leader at Doggy Tales means a commitment to ongoing training, a commitment to excellence, and putting the dogs’ needs above all else.

  • Understands the dog’s unique individual behaviour
  • Proactively manages the pack, spotting and preventing issues before they arise
  • Identifies opportunities to improve dogs’ physical and mental well-being
  • Strong communicator with the team and clients to ensure long-term retention
  • Is calm under pressure

If this doesn’t sound like you, no hard feelings. We also recruit casual dog walkers for less intensive positions, and recommend volunteering at WAG to spend some time with amazing dogs.
